They've got about 10 turnovers this half and have had their fair share of bone headed mistakes. They could easily have 50+. And Harris is going against two mongoloids over 7'0. We are going to have to hit perimeter shots.

We jinxed Harris earlier. Missing several shots that he should definitely make.

Bowers has a nice first step. It looks good when he actually makes the layup.

I feel like when we are getting killed Bowers doesn't look bad, but when it's close he goes full Bowers. Maybe I am just more critical of his play when it's close.

Does Bowers not realize that teams leave him open from 3PT because they want him to take that shot?

Our offense is so easy to stop. 1-3-1 or man will shut it down in a heartbeat.

All they have to do is keep Canty from driving and we're done. Bowers could be a threat if he could finish or pass.

Whenever we try a screen just double Canty.

We need to start making Granger a bigger part of our offense. He is a great option when set up properly

This team looks uninterested. Our offense is so slow. No quick passes or movement.

Pearl desperately needs work on a zone look, we can't keep anyone in front of us and we are constantly beat off the dribble or committing a foul.

Bryce Brown is giving me a migraine. I've never seen someone look so solid up until it hits the back of the rim.

I agree. Granger has improved a lot since last year, both offensively and defensively.

The bad thing is we had a few guys that could get to the rim last year. This year it's Canty, Dunans, and Bowers. Dunans is out and Bowers can't finish or pass, so Canty is basically the only creator we can put on the floor. We could desperately use even someone like Canada right now.

I would kill for a player like Kornet

7'1 with the ability to shoot 3's and defend the 4 or 5 is a pretty rare skillset.

I think it has to do with his background as a guard prior to the growth spurt. He's seen the floor from both the point and low post (along with the wings while he's nailing those triples ). That experience can do a lot for a player since they understand the whole game, not just their current role.

They said he grew 7 inches after high school right? Crazy.

According to his Vandy bio, he grew 7 inches from the start of his senior season in high to when he stepped onto Vanderbilt's campus. He added 2 more inches from when he stepped on campus until game 1 of his freshman year. That got him to 7'0". He has since added enough height to tally at 7'1". It really is absurd.

Before this game, I thought height would make the difference in this game. Vandy has 3 guys that are 7 feet tall. Two of them (Damian Jones and Kornet) start. Auburn's tallest player is 6'9". Vandy's ability (even if they don't always live up to it) to shoot makes it hard to double up on the inside to negate that height advantage. Tonight, Vanderbilt played to those strengths tonight better than they have in a while.

Memorial Gym's unique configuration also plays into preventing Bruce from guiding a still-learning team as well as he normally can. It was a perfect storm for an Auburn loss tonight. Sorry fellas.

This is exactly why I had zero expectations of winning
