It is exciting and scary to think of the possibilities for next years team, our backcourt wi be insane but front court
PG- Canty
SG Brown/Dunans
SF- Purifoy/Heron/Lang
PF- ?
C- Spencer
Maybe Purifoy plays a stretch 4? He has size. If we can't find a grad transfer with size, big teams will abuse us

If we don't find a big man then Purifoy would play the 4 for sure

What are we expecting out of McLemore? I haven't seen any film on him.

I think we will get a grad transfer, and there is definitely the possibility of one of our guys leaving the team. Tahj may be done forever so we could get two more big men.
As of now it should be
Canty
Brown
Dunans
Purifoy
Spencer

Heron is going to start. Easily

Probably not until SEC games. Supposedly he is a raw shooter and is more athlete than anything.
It won't really matter, with our press and tempo, our rotational players will play 20-25minutes

I find it odd that a 5* shooting guard can still be raw at shooting the ball.

Just goes to show how impressive he is at attacking the basket and defending

Yep, saw him in that scrimmage before the season started. He looked good getting to the basket. Shooting wasn't bad, but it didn't look like he was a pure shooter either.

Heron will have to adjust to D1 competition, learn Bruce's system and develop chemistry with his teammates.
Just a lot to overcome when we already have Dunans and Brown who looked good this year and should be improved

Pearl on SEC Telecon today stated that due to injuries and eligibility issues our program growth has been compromised and we're back to square one

Hard to argue. 3/5 starters are injured. A would be starter is on the bench and a needed post player is at home.

I have to agree with this statement, we are the walking wounded. This is a lot to lose on one basketball team.
1) Tahj DONE
2) Dunans (3 - 5 weeks)
3) TJ Lang had "concussion symptoms"
4) Purifoy (Eligibility Issue)

He hasn't said anything that we dont already know. Injuries and the Purifoy situation has literally wrecked this season.
All we need is two big men and next season we are leaps and bounds forward.
