Meant to post this much earlier in the day but oh well, it's still the 10th anniversary. My freshman year of college, damn I'm getting old.

September 19, 2009

3.75" of rain in a 63 min rain delay. Who else stayed in it the whole time with me?

A regular season OOC game from a mediocre season, but it'll always be one of my favorite Auburn sports memories.

Remember it well.... was living in Longview TX at the time... graduated from au 9 months earlier.

Got off to a terrible start... Noel Devine was freaking unbelievable.

I went to Atlanta to replace mine the next weekend. Back during the time it was normal not to have a phone for a little while

Yeah dude, at that time I was at a much smaller school in a very rural place that major carriers didn't cover. The only place on campus most people could get service was at the top of a very steep hill. On the weekends we would usually leave town and go somewhere populated so that was the only time I'd call people.

I enjoyed it. Gave me a good excuse to not have to talk to my parents much and ignore people I didn't want to talk to. And I just used Facebook to talk to my friends since that was before old people started getting on there

Sounds like Southern Union - Wadley. My girlfriend and a few other high school classmates went there. You had to have a certain provider or you would never have service.

If you were lucky then someone's parents who had the same provider as you bought them a network extender. Then you could sit in the hall outside their door and get just enough signal to make a call

I lost my incredible tailgate spot because of this game.

The dean of the college in the building next to our spot was in his office during the game when some assholes in their trucks decided to go mudding on campus. The next week they have temp barricades which we removed, the next week cement ones.

This was an awesome Auburn experience. Everybody was crammed in the tunnel for a while but didn’t leave.

My brother met me in Auburn (from Atlanta) and I drove up from Bham (graduated a few years prior). He had the foresight to bring plastic bags for our phones. What a freaking blast. Can’t believe that was 10 years.

Was there but was still in high school. Such a fun game. Seeing the fun the students were having cemented my decision to go to Auburn.

Probably my favorite moment as a student inside Jordan Hare.

Same. Had an absolute blast.

The best part was that it gave the WVU fans a much needed bath. That's hands down the trashiest fanbase I've ever been around.
