They're gonna take McCarthy if they don't trade for Fields.

Cousins is a realistic option too. His wife is UGA alum from Atlanta area. All her family is here. If the team feels good about his Achilles, he’s by far the best veteran option. I like McCarthy too, but, obviously a vet would be the better way to go.

I don't hate the idea of signing Cousins for 2 years AND drafting a QB at 8. QB doesn't have to get thrown in the fire immediately but still get a few years of him on a rookie deal.

Hell, let's move up a few spots and get the QB we want.

It's time. Well past time.

Who is that exactly? Williams is a bust waiting to happen. Maye is a prospect based on physical traits only. Jayden Daniels is the other best option but not worth what the trade up would cost. McCarthy is the pick IMO.

I agree about the QBs. I want nothing to do with Williams. Daniels is my preference. The problem is all 3 of the teams in the top 3 need QBs. The cost to get one of them to move off of their spots would be too much for this franchise, I think. I think to move up to 2, for example, would cost something like a 2024 1st, 2024 2nd, 2025 1st, 2025 3rd, and AJ Terrell.

To like Jayden a lot but he has RGIII potential. He's too hard on his body.

Agreed. He has bust written all over him.

I like Maye the best out of the 3 and for me INPC.

How about KJ Jefferson (not at 8)

Who watched Arky football and can chime in?

Edit: I guess he has another year of eligibility and transferred to UCF

Every year they pump up a unc qb , he goes high in the draft and ends up below average.

Trade for Fields keep your number 8 pick and take either Bowers, Nabers or Oduze at 8. That gives you a young solid core on offense.

Falcons would not be able to get Fields with trade AND keep their #8 pick.

He could be good with the right staff. He has a high ceiling, but he also has a low floor.

Fields ain't it, brother.

Cousins is the play here. Draft JJ at 8 and let him learn under Kirk and in 2-3 years he takes over.
