Braves fans, if you're GM what's your trade?

Trade everyone for all different players.

Not sure I'm willing to be a big time buyer this year. Don't think this team is good enough to sell the farm for.

AA should have explored making a big shakeup trade or two this past winter. If this season goes like it looks like it's going to, he'll have to make one or two of those this upcoming winter.

You can't use injuries and bad luck as an excuse for three straight years of shite.

Just going by history, I don't see AA going big on any trades.

Starting the season, I feel like they were waiting on Smith-Shawver, Schwellenbach, and Waldrep to boost the pitching staff at mid-season. But they were also counting on Strider, too.

Reilly, Kim, and Acuna(health) have been major disappointments. But I don't see any trades to replace any of them.

The Braves have the 5th(?) highest pay roll, but it feels like they spend like paupers.

I never understood this. Hopefully AA has learned his lesson about being so dependent on guys with long injury histories.

Riley $22M
Kim $20M
Strider $20M
Murphy $15M
Bummer $9.5M
Jimenez $9M (to be fair, no one really could have predicted his minor knee surgery after 2024 would turn out to be career ending)

That's about $100M on 6 guys with a combined negative WAR this season. That's why it feels like they spend like paupers.

What do you think about Andrew McCutchen? Surely he can produce somewhere.

I'm sure he could fill in here or there and possibly give them a little bump in production. But after that, there is a reason all he could get was a minor league contract.

No moves. This team is wild card at best and out in the first game.

You think Jurikisin Profar would've made a difference? (sp)

Not really. Looks like Profar's 2024 season in San Diego was a steroid aided fluke.
