Dallas Turner? Nabers? Harrison? Bowers?

They need to take an offensive tackle but I don't think they will. McGary is not a good enough pass blocker to justify his starting role and Matthews is getting older and starting to decline.

With Cousins coming off the Achilles injury, having top notch pass protection should be high on the priority list. Matthews moving to RT could extend his career, too.

I’ve been saying this but no one with the organization or the talking heads seem to see it. But we need receiver help too. We basically have 2 jumbo receivers that don’t excel in separation. Need some wiggle guys. Would be huge to get an OL in first round and have a guy like McConkey fall to the second.

Defense needs help. Our offense FINALLY got the missing piece in Kirk.

I think Dallas Turner (biased Bama fan) is the right pick. I wouldn't even hate Bowers to add yet another weapon - but if we're being real, it's gotta be a defensive player.

But we got a QB!!

Turner in the first to help our pass rush and snagging McConkey in the second would be pretty huge

Ideally, for Day 1 and 2, BPA defensive player at 8, Ladd McConkey at 43, BPA defensive player at 74 and 79.

I pretty much like all these scenarios but drafting a future QB is what needs to be done but probably not.

Or Nabers. We need a future #1 WR who can separate.

Not at 8.
Maybe later taking a chance on grabbing a Purdy.

Purdy is an outlier of outliers.

The vast majority of franchise QB's are drafted in the 1st round/early 2nd

They signed Mooney. Signaling to me thst WR is off the board in round 1.

Edge rusher seems likely.

If they don’t go WR at #8, then trade that pick and stock pile some more 2nd and 3rd rounds.

They'll go edge rusher at 8 if they don't go WR.

And trading down is easier said than done.

You nailed it. Penix was the best on the board at #8.
