QB's picked at the top of the draft are always going to be bigger busts, but Pitts is definitely up there because he was the #4 overall pick. I was willing to give him this year now that he had competent QB play but it became obvious after the Saints game that he's a bust. He just doesn't give a damn. He doesn't like the game. Doesn't make him a bad guy, just a bad football player.

Peria Jerry

Remember when most wanted him over Ryan? I 'member.

Yes.

Master Drafter Terry left Micah Parsons, JaMarr Chase, and Patrick Surtain all available and everyone knew they wouldn’t bust.

Falcons constantly trying to show the world how much smarter they are than everyone else.

VADawg disagrees with me, but if the Falcons miss the playoffs again I think he's toast. He should have been toast last year, but that's another story.

Nothing will change until Blank quits meddling, hires an actual president of football ops from a well-run organization, or sells the team.

He sucks as an owner.

You're thinking of Glenn Dorsey, and that was one hell of a heated debate back then. I was sold on Ryan after that BC/VT Thursday night game in 2007.

Part of what makes Pitts so bad is the list of players taken right after him:

Chase
Waddle
Sewell
Jaycee Horn
Surtain
Devonta Smith
Fields (lol)
Parsons

Yesterday was the first time I've gotten to the point of "frick this guy". I know I was one of the last holdouts.

He's just fricking soft.

Same here. His bitchy whiny attitude can go elsewhere.

You're right. It was Dorsey. The Falcons drafted Jerry. Thanks.

I was one of them (though I liked Ryan) and very, very glad to be wrong.

Bust. Bigly. His fumble in Penix first start was comical
