Option 3...the basketball Gods smile on Atlanta and we get #1 and #6 (Dal)

I would definitely soil myself if this happened

I soiled myself just thinking about it.

For once in our lives (well...at least once since we traded up for Vick), can the sports gods please smile down on Atlanta and throw us a bone.

shite.. if we get #1 and #anything greater than 5 from the Mavs, we hit the damn jackpot... But this is Atlanta... I will temper my expectations for the Mavs to land Zion and we get shuffled to like 7th or 8th somehow...

am I correct in my understanding that the highest pick that we can actually get from the Mavericks is #9? as in, they can either get a 1-4, which is protected, or they will get a 9-14, which would go to the Hawks. I don't think it's possible for them to get a 5-8 pick, but I'm not totally positive.

Looks like it... hadn't taken a look at the final odds after the season wrapped...

With 8 & 10 might as well roll the dice on Bol Bol and the top international Sekou Doumbouya and see if we can win the lottery that way.

Hawks failed miserably at tanking last season.

Yea.. although the pelicans had a better record than we did and are drafting 7 spots higher. I wish I could get into the hawks, but it looks like we will be stuck in mediocrity again. Of course, outside of the warriors, that’s most of the nba.
