We looked decent-to-good in Week 1 but snatched an L from the jaws of success. Coaches looked like they actually coached and adjusted through game 2. That was... refreshing?!
Not sure I've seen in game adjustments for the falcons in... forever?

The red zone O is dogshit. One of the key stats that separates good teams from average to bad teams in the NFL is red zone touchdown percentage. The Falcons have sucked in the red zone forever.
That was a good win last night and there are signs that this could be a good team, but they HAVE to clean up the red zone stuff.
Probably worth noting that was a very beat up Vikings team last night.

Most encouraging thing to me was that pass rush we saw last night. I can’t remember ever in my life the falcons get after a QB like that and with both 1st round players kicking in.
Billy bowman our 4th round pick CB last year also had a INT and a sack last week. It looks like early on those investments in the defense our showing signs of improvement

If this year really is going to be different, they need to go out and hammer Carolina this week. I can't even count how many times the Falcons have lost this kind of game in my lifetime.

Going back and just looking through stats Atlanta haste #2 overall defense right now and the #2 pass defense with 2 rookies starting. Watts and Bowman are both playing really well right now. They also have the #10 offense.

I never thought Penix sucked. I thought it was dumb to pay Cousins what they did at his age coming off a major injury. I thought they should have just gave Wilson and Fields contracts and use their draft picks else where. They could have waited and got the future qb last year or this year.

I really like Dart. I also like the kid that is the backup at Ole Miss this year. I liked Odunze a lot and really think we need another wr opposite of London. Some of these can be answered in FA. So its hard to say what you might draft so far out but the Cousins deal was a huge mistake. Plus Penix is already 26 so they will need to look at drafting a backup to him to become his successor in the next couple of years.
