Trufant officially designated a post June 1 cut. Team frees up about $11M by doing this.
Nice!
So with getting Fowler and Hurst, do we officially go CB in 1st round? Might not be a bad idea with now the NFC South having Teddy B, Drew Brees and Tom Brady.
We also need a RB but assume that'll come in the draft.

Probably, but my personal preference is Kinlaw or Chaisson. I still don't think there's enough pass rush.
It's also a weak corner class after Okudah, who will be long gone by the time the Falcons pick.

Definitely agree, just thinking strictly for the 1st round pick. If we take Chaisson (seen a lot of mocks with us doing that) he would need to start/play a lot this season. That spot seems kinda full at least for starters.
CB seems bare and no way we take a RB in 1st round. Would be hard to take ANOTHER OL in 1st, so it's gotta be CB or DT/DE.

First round: Kinlaw, Chaisson, or trade down for Kenneth Murray or Patrick Queen (linebackers)
Second round: Damon Arnette or Bryce Hall (both corners)
Third round: Best RB on the board
4th-7th rounds: Best player available

Rams just flat out released Todd Gurley. Wonder if we kick the tires and he gives us a hometown discount?
Curious if that injury really messed his career up though?!

Fans who say that and are serious are beyond stupid.
The last time the Falcons signed a washed up Rams RB, it didn't go well. If the Falcons do this, it should be a team friendly 2 year contract at the very most.

it's always a huge talking point on the Buck and Kincade show. I can never tell if Buck truly thinks it, or if he is making fun of his fellow dwags.

I would guess Buck is trolling. Philly trash Kincade is more likely to believe it.

To be fair, Saints fans do it with LSU here in New Orleans also. Kills them that Debo is good and has been since day 1 with Atlanta.

Was gonna post the same thing. I imagine that happens with a lot of colleges close to NFL towns.

Great move if Koetter actually uses him

Or if he has anything left. Good news is that it's only a one year deal so if he has nothing left, there's no long term dead money.

I'm not too concerned about his health on the one year deal, so definitely agree with your statement there. My biggest thing is no matter how much money they are giving him, it's a waste if Koetter doesn't actually use him. That $$ could go towards depth in other areas. If we actually use him, then I'm 110% behind this move.

I’m pumped about this move. It’ll bring some new life to TG.
