He’s aight in my book. He trolls a little but honestly seems reasonable, at times, so that’s better than most saints fans.

You’re a good man DD
Come visit the Saints board more often and stir it up!

Where’s everybody leaning for the draft?

I think we need to go best DT available. Wouldn’t be surprised if they moved up a few picks to get their guy. At the same time getting an OG wouldn’t bother me with how deep the DT class is this year

I hope we go with the Rohan draft strategy and grab the #1 kicker in the first round.

If Da'Ron Payne is there when we pick, it's a no brainer. I highly doubt he is though so I don't know. I still feel like we HAVE TO go with a DT in 1st though.

Agreed. DaRon would be a helluva pick up but I don’t see how he falls to 26. TD likes to move up for his guy so everyone is in play

At 26, my wish list in order:

Vea
Payne
Bryan
Hurst

If none of them are there, go best player available unless it's a linebacker or trade down

The Twitter account has returned and multiple reports say that Jones was just looking for a “fresh start” for his online profiles rather than sending a message about his desire to leave the Falcons. Jones also recently discussed the perils of putting too much stock in social media with Alabama players.

He deleted his instagram pics in Falcons gear and made his account private, then mentions a fresh start. I think he's just trying to get better and block out the noise, atleast I hope so. He's paid nicely and is with a team that can put itself in championship contention.

lol. I'd hate to see Julio go but I honestly only see another great 1-2 years out of him. He's an aging BIG wr with a history of injuries.

I haven't seen a single one of those stories work out where the wr plays until he's late 30s.

I've thought the same thing since Calvin Johnson retired. I wouldn't be surprised if Julio hangs it up at 30 or 31

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported the Falcons and left tackle Jake Matthews agreed to a five-year, $75 million contract extension on Friday, according to a source informed of the deal.

quote:

The Matthews news came down less than an hour after we learned the Tennessee Titans handed Taylor Lewan (drafted five spots behind Matthews) a five-year, $80 million contract. Matthews comes in a smidge below Lewan's record-setting deal, but $15 million per season still puts the Falcons lineman among the three highest paid players at his position.

glad we got a deal done, but Jake is not a top 3 LT

Off season about to be over soon.

What will be the worst feeling ever?

1) That Super Bowl choke

2) The Saints winning our second
Super Bowl and winning it in Atlanta

Y’all went from a circus tent to a large ahole.

And then you named it the 2nd Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Y’all should be proud.
