Chaisson played 2 years and 1 of those was lost to a season ending injury. Just throwing that out there.

You obviously never played football.

Time for a revolution.

So is Mike Evans. So is Michael Thomas. So is Tyreek Hill. So is Amari Cooper. So is Terry McLaurin. So is Keenan Allen. So is Courtland Sutton.

We play all of those guys next season and he will struggle with all of them. Chase is what he can expect to see every week in the NFL.

Straw man argument.
Terrell won’t be the #1 CB covering the #1 WRs of those teams. If so, that’s our own coaching fault. That or Terrell became a beast and I can laugh at y’all.

I never played football because Chaisson got injured? I’m confused as to what your argument is.

I did play HS football and HS baseball. Tore my hamstring in baseball. So there’s your mindfrick.

You’re not getting it. With a first round pick you want a guy that’s involved in every play. The big kid on the playground effect.

Dimitroff and Quinn drafted a midget with a slingshot on the hillside.

Terrell was good against the Pitts and Boston Colleges of the ACC world. He saw an NFL caliber WR for once and got his arse handed to him.

Ok. So who did you want instead?
Sorry, after re reading it sounds like you wanted Chaisson. Fine. Ok.

I’m glad we didn’t go Chaisson. I have questions about EVERY one of those LSU players that looked “ok” and then turned into top 20 picks. That to me says “great coach” not “great player”.

Goddamn are you retarded? Do you understand how football works?

A first round piick, a QB or someone who hits helmets every single play. Not a DB playing 15 yards back and running track.

I’m going to reserve some judgment on the pick. I’m not crazy about it but I don’t think he’s as awful as you’re making him out to be. Just about every corner that LSU played last season was exposed against them.

Do you? You have to draft based on your roster, salary cap space, future cap space, future retirees, oh and most importantly, needs.

So I’m glad that you told me “QB or someone who hits helmets on ever play”. Ok, cool.

Well, we don’t need QB this year nor DT with everyone we wanted off the board. We apparently didn’t want Chaisson. So we took the next best CB off the board on MOST folks boards. Maybe that wasn’t yours but suck it up.

As soon as you ask if someone is retarded or knows anything, it shows your insecurities about the sport, not mine.
Be safe bud, cheers!

This argument holds no water when it was apparent we could have traded down and gotten the same guy. Folks would been fine with the pick in the second round.

The money was already set aside, and wasn’t an issue.

Dimitroff and Quinn had CB set in their heads and they followed it up with an awful pick.

Guys. I’ve said it maybe 32 times now. We weren’t trading down. TD an DQ need to win NOW and make the playoffs THIS SEASON not the next 5.

This is starting to become a circular argument.

I agree with this. Julio and Matty aren’t getting any younger, but we needed a pass rusher or linebacker.

Wouldn’t Queen have been a better pick?

We aren’t winning anything with this roster anytime soon, add to the fact of what Tampa is doing.

TB is going to be overrated. I’d cite you the ‘11 Eagles when they tried to buy their championship.

TB now has 3 starting TEs and they brought in a QB that has to face competition, not just the NFC East and get a bye into the playoffs. Now, their OT selection was legit.

“At the end of the day wouldn’t queen have been better”
No. Not unless queen was playing S or CB, we had to fill specific spots.

Just for the record, Jeff Gladny” from TCU just went at #31 and was listed as a “good draft”.
