I really hate when Snitker does this. Even at 107 pitches, I hate wasting a reliever when the starter is rolling. Give him one more batter.

God freakin forbid he actually thinks outside the box.

Those infield errors weren't exactly helping the bullpen guys, but anyway the bad guys scored 5 more in the 8th.

I can't tell which side of the fence you are on lol. Are you saying he was thinking outside of the box by taking out Teheran or that he wasn't?
Either way, they got out of that inning just fine but wasted one of our best relievers for just one batter. Had the game stayed tied, that could have bit us in the arse in extras.

Wasn't and agreeing with you...I cannot stand managers
who are slaves to pitch counts.

Kurt got another RBI in the 8th. Still need a grand slam worth of runs though in the last inning. Did you guys see that Kurt was starting in back to back games without Flowers being hurt?

Lost 6 to 2. Maybe Folty will have a better outcome tomorrow without having it ruined by the bullpen.

Snit is the poster boy for it. Complete games are becoming a thing of the past and Snit can't seem to shake the fear of letting his starters go past the 100 pitch mark. And like clockwork the bullpen blows it.

I just think it's awesome we have a guy ranked #72 out of 78 eligible players in OPS in the NL getting the most at-bats on the team. That's just good managing.
#70. Pirela (SD) (.667)
#71. Margot (SD) (.661)
#72. Inciarte (ATL) (.655)
#73. Rosario (NYM) (.654)
#74. Difo (WSH) (.648)
#75. Hamilton (CIN) (.626)
#75. Galvis (SD) (.626)
#77. Kingery (PHI) (.611)
#78. Brinson (MIA) (.570)
But SOG, leadoff just needs to get on base!
Shite, he sucks at that too
#63. Inciarte (ATL) (.315)
That's just awesome. Really sweet.

Braves are on the suck train right now. We're limping into ASG break time. Losing the last few series' isn't earth shattering since it was good teams but losing last night to the Jays isn't good.
We need to win the next few nights. Cmon boys!

Why won't Snit try Camargo at leadoff? It should be Ozzie and Acuna without a doubt, but if one of them are out then why not put Camargo up there? Why insist on Ender so much? Camargo is a switch hitter. He does have a higher strike out percentage than Ender (probably young and aggressive), but he has 32 walks compared to Ender's 33, and his OBP and OPS is much much better than Ender's. Dansby's strikeouts are out the roof and he doesn't belong up there.

I mean, quite literally anybody in the lineup would be better at leadoff. We don't have any classic options, but we have quite a few guys who would do the job a leadoff man commands. Markakis and Camargo are the 2 most obvious choices due to their high OBPs and ability to handle the bat. Camargo becomes the best option when you consider the fact that you don't want to move Markakis out of protection for Freddie and a guy who hits with men on base.
But the main reason is because Snit is a stubborn arse old man.

You guys remember when shitty arse Fredi Gonzalez was our manager, and we couldn't wait for his arse to get fired so we could hire a competent manager?

Surprise Ender leading off.
I also expect to see AJ in the 8th and Viz in the 9th even if Folty is pitching a no-hitter. That's just what Snit does.

Do not go check out Andrelton Simmons stats so far this year. It will only bring you sadness.

The fact that Newk has turned into a legitimate solid major league arm at least makes me feel a tad better about that trade.
