Braves won 5-2... swept the fishy bush league team. Too bad the red sox let us down and the phillies are still 2 back.

Snitker after the game would just say Acuna was sore and his arm was cramping when he took himself out.. and that Snitker was still mad. He said he was still being evaluated and would probably need an MRI tomorrow. Freddie Freeman said Urena was gutless, but he didn't blame the Marlins just the pitcher.

They talked to the Marlins' manager who said that wasn't what they were about or something like that. After the commercial they are supposed to see what Urena has to say (making up something accidental is my guess)

He just blabbed on and on about not wanting to hit him on purpose and get thrown out because he'd have to wait 5 days to be able to pitch again. Brian Jordan said he wasn't buying it though and somebody needed to throw some knuckles at the guy.

Braves twitter: X-rays taken tonight on Ronald Acuña Jr’s left elbow were negative. He underwent a CT scan and those results are pending and will be announced tomorrow.

The Braves said Acuna's ct scan was normal and he's day to day.

Which means Snit will sit him for the entire Colorado series LOL.
Joking aside, I'll certainly take it, and maybe it'll give Duvall a chance to get some consistent at bats for a few days in order to get him going. He's only had 20 or so at bats since being traded.

Hopefully the arm isn't bothering his swings, I could be wrong, but I think we're going to need all the offense we can get with Julio pitching to the Rockies.

I hope Acuna can keep that anytime during the game homer streak going tonight.... but they took away his leadoff homer streak so he'd have to start a new one of those.

Julio had a near miracle in the 1st inning and didn't give up a single run! then Acuna got a leadoff single wearing an arm protector and stole 2nd. Seems like his old self to me for whatever that's worth.
