Not sure if he still is but Maddox was helping coach at UNLV. Thinking his kid plays there.

I guess I'm the only person that would go after Machado.

Harper would be great I just don't see him landing in Atlanta

Our bigger need is outfield, but if the organization is willing to try Riley out in LF, then I have no issues with going after Machado.

If we could only pick one player to add (realistic or not), my ranking would be as follows:

1) DeGrom
2) Harper
3) Realmuto
4) Machado
5) Kimbrel

frick Machado. I want no part of him.

Also feels like Dansbae got snubbed from the Gold Glove finalists.

You've certainly convinced me with that sterling and in depth analysis.

Maybe Manny cost himself some millions with his antics and can be had for a bit of a relative bargain.

Maybe. I'd probably still pass on him, but not because "frick manny, he's a dirty bitch" lol. I'd just prefer we sign an outfielder first. Manny would be my 4th or 5th preference in terms of big ticket free agent signings.

I feel like the people (not including the trolls) who post regularly on this subforum do a pretty good job with discussion, but every now and then we get someone who pops in with words of genius like that.

Maybe it's just me but id pay for Bruce Hooper. He's uber competitive and even in a down year he's still the best hitter on the team.

you definitely aren't the only one. He's still my number 1 target for the offseason followed by Realmuto. We get those 2 guys and we can start printing our playoff tickets for next year already.

folks keep talking about the need for a big RH bat for the middle of the order. I'd prefer a LH slugger. We face a ton more RHPs than LHPs. The split was 4486 PAs vs 1765 PAs. Yet we had a higher OPS vs lefties.

Give me a 2nd LH bopper for the middle of the order and Realmuto can be the RH bat. Freeman hits well versus lefties anyways, and our switch hitters tend to be better right handed hitters.

Same here. He's kinda awkward but I think our clubhouse would loosen him up. I've noticed over the years that he and Freddie have a good relationship. I remember when we hit Harper (unintentional slow curve), and Freddie was giving him shite on the first base about it.

Kluber or Greinke seem like good trade targets.

Bowman seems fixated on Realmuto, so we'll see if that's real. The ask from Miami will be a bit cost prohibitive I fear.

Carrasco, Encarnacion, and Gomes also available. Indians sound like they're about to start a fire sale of anyone not named Lindor and Ramirez
