We gotta take advantage of playing the Pirates while the NYM have the slumping Yankees. Although yankees took game 1 last night, hope they can take another.
Mets get a break with playing the Rockies but then get the Dodgers starting next week.
Braves unfortunately got the Cardinals but then get the Rockies.
These next 7 days could be interesting.

Dang, I posted being 3 games back 2 days ago and now we're 1.5 back. Unfortunately we have a weekend series with the Cardinals and the Mets get the lowly Rockies.
Hopefully the Mets can continue their proverbial pre-october collapse and lose 2/3 to the Rockies.

Yep, did it 2 days in a row. Should've won Sat's game and then Sun's game we rallied back to go up 3-2 only to blow it late.
At least we get the Rockies starting Tuesday and the Mets get the Dodgers. I'm genuinely tired of dilly dallying around the 3 games back spot. This is the time to get to even or maybe 1 game back. Cmon Braves!

Well hot damn! If the Braves hold on today and the Mets get thrashed (currently 7-1), the Braves will only be one game back.

Unfortunately, the Mutts have Degrom and Bassitt pitching two games in a doubleheader against the Pirates later today. But, who knows? Maybe the Pirates can shock us and win one of those games.

Gonna be crazy to end this season. We're 1 game back as of Tuesday. It's almost a must win game every night as we basically have to stay no worse than 1 game back of them OR we'd have to sweep em unless they stumble big against the Marlins. Gonna be tough!

I was at the game last night. The atmosphere at Truist was electric. By the way, Matt Olsons dinger was hit into my seat. I tried to barehand it and missed so some guy behind me got the ball. :(.

When they kept turning out the lights and chopping for the exiting Mets pitchers made for good TV. Also when they played the Tommy Trumpet song for Contreras while Diaz was pitching late in the 8th was also great TV.
Just gotta win 1 of the next 3 and the Mets blew their NL East Championship and the Braves straight took it from em and bullied em.
