Lots of criticism of Blank, so I want to know who the better ones are.

Don't want to hear about the Steelers. We already know they are great.

Kraft? Nah. He caught lightning in a bottle.

I think there are lots who are worse than Blank. If he’d get rid of McCay he’d be better off.

The ones you never hear about. Steve Biscotti (Ravens), York Family (49ers), etc.

Any owner who is hands on in football decision making is automatically excluded from this conversation. Blank fits this description.

Also, the Rich McKay dynamic is a problem for this organization. He has been just godawful at anything football related yet Blank insists on keeping him around. Blank is a buffoon. He wants to be Jerry Jones.

Yup, let the experts and football lifers run the ship. Just sign the checks, sit back and enjoy.

Detrimental ego will always be a big problem in the billionaire ownership circles though.

This. Rumor mill says Bill Parcells wanted Rich McKay out of the way. And so does Bill Belichick

You guys do know that he has no saynin football ops, right? He's Blank's liaison and confidant, nothing more, nothing less.

This is true.

He needs to sell the team.

Blank is one of the top-5 worst owners in the league. End of discussion.

I disagree. You say this constantly and it might be true, but you don’t say anything else to support it.
Chargers
Titans
Cowboys
Commanders
Panthers
Saints
Bears
Colts
Browns
Broncos
Cardinals

None of them have good ownership.

Go look at Blanks's last decade of ownership and you'll see that there haven't been many worse.

Fair enough.

In the last 11 years, the Falcons have made the playoffs only twice.

David Tepper is the worst owner in the league. Carolina is going to suck for a long, long time.

Jimmy Haslam is worse than Blank. Blank owes him a Christmas card for guaranteeing Watson $250M.

The Spanos family blows for the Chargers.

Those are the only three owners I'd comfortably say are worse than Blank.

Blank is meddlesome. Thomas Dimitroff gave out some bad contract extensions but Blank did him zero favors with his "Falcon for life" bullshite. He constantly allowed an environment where Julio Jones got a damn near fully guaranteed contract and immediately quit trying. He undercut Fontenot by not having him at the press conference. That basically told everyone that he has no real input on the next coaching search, which is absolutely stupid because he's the damn GM. Blank doesn't trust any of his football people other than McKay, and it shows because McKay is the only one he doesn't undercut. The idiotic pursuit of Deshaun Watson was just kind of the cherry on top.

Take a look at the differences in the ways the Falcons and Braves are run. The Braves are a professional, buttoned up organization with outstanding front office leadership and a straightforward organization chart. McGuirk does ownership stuff, AA does front office stuff, Snit manages. Nothing ever leaks out of that front office. Meanwhile, no one knows who is running the show for the Falcons. McKay's role is unclear. Does Fontenot have any real power? EVERYTHING leaks out of that front office. They look like a clown show in comparison to the Braves.

I wish the Falcons front office people could spend a week doing nothing but observing how AA and his staff go about their business.

That means the Jets owner is the worst in the league.

OK.

Go tell the legendary coaches that want him out of the way that he is just an empty suit.

Even if he doesn’t know or do a thing, I can see why BB thinks it’s a weird dynamic

Getting stuck with Raheem Morris because no one else wants to work in this convoluted, disorganized mess of an organization is a pretty good indicator.

Based on what?
One year where they looked liked their normal shitshow?
Replacing Rivera with Quinn?

So based on conjecture. Year one they did normal Washington stuff.

Off season they hired a dud.

It’s not conjecture if you have first hand knowledge of working with the guy.

Try harder
