This is a touchy subject but you absolutely have a point here. Braves under Cox were very known to choke in the playoffs.

At least he fits in with Quinn, Shanahan and Kirby.

It always seemed like the strike zone got smaller for Maddux and Glavine in the playoffs. It also seemed like a lot of our bats not named Chipper disappeared in October.

This was the main problem for the most part. Bats just disappeared in tight games.(Gant,Galaragga,McGriff) and God forbid,Bobby Cox would actually try to manufacture runs.

If we're only talking Atlanta, I'd have to say:
Aaron
Jones
Maddux
Murphy
Enter through the Bobby Cox Welcome Center and you can ride the Glavine/Smoltz tram to the top for a great view.

If you take away Aaron’s non Braves numbers, would he belong on on a Atlanta Braves Mt Rushmore?
Ummmm. Yeah
.293 BA with .943 OPS
1334 hits (133 avg per season)
209 2Bs (20 avg per season)
16 3Bs
335 HRs (33 avg per season)
10 time all star (10 seasons in ATL)
2580 total bases (258 per season)
Averaged 63 walks and 55 Ks per season.
Chipper averaged more walks, doubles, and triples. Better batting avg. Pretty much every other metric goes to hank (hrs, total bases, slugging, ops, rbi, Ks. Even stolen bases).
