Sports are sports, and we Falcons fans have had our share of truly lousy experiences... but we never once moaned and complained like they did.
They're 1-1 and lost to the defending NFC champs on the road. Like, that happens.
However, after the way they treated us following Super Bowl 51, there is no end to these "life lessons," I hope they continue to endure. You would have thought they beat us in the super bowl. If you ever go down to NOLA for a Falcons-Saints game, they've got a massive "28-3" mural. LMAO - why?
This ref stuff thing they have is just going to cloud their minds and organization. Sean Payton, for as an incredible offensive mind he is, runs too hot for my personal taste. The "choke" thing against us in 2017 ended with Brees throwing the game-losing pick. The "Skol" taunt ended with "Sideline! Caught! Diggs! Touchdown!" Then of course they spend an entire season posing for the camera and doing that lame-arse "choppa style" dance (probably because the only NOLA artist worth a damn - Lil Wayne - is a noted Packers fan)... only to have Brees throw the game losing pick in OT.
FWIW I think Brees is an incredible guy, great QB, and an unreal competitor. I really respect that dude. It's more the fanbase I can't stand, and their inability to handle any sort of adversity is quite plainly, hard not to peek at every once in a while.

These clown Saints fans. Do they not watch other games?
NFL officiating has been very bad for a few years now, across the board! Not just against your team you fricking dolts.

Gotta love it.
Bridgewater barely above 50% completion.
Saints had 57 total rushing yards.
But the NFL conspiracy is what turned their offense into dog shite.

You see, the NFL perfectly placed Aaron Donald's helmet right in-front of Drew Brees' throwing motion. They've been planning this since the start of the off-season. Roger G. and his cronies wanted to embarrass the Saints on national TV against the team who ROBBED them of all the Super Bowl titles!
I have a friend who is a personal injury attorney here in New Iberia, he says we have a pretty strong collusion case against the refs, the Rams, and the NFL.

if saints blow a few games... i say screw the rest of the season... set team up to draft Joe Burrow ! Granted, if saits have a legit shot at a deep playoff run... go for it.

They're slowly imagining what life without Brees is going to look like. Sean Payton is 1,000% going to pull an Urban Meyer health "scare" when Drew retires.

Seahawks, Dallas, Bucs, jags, bears, cardinals. That's the next six weeks then a bye week. Beat cardinals and Bucs and we are 3-5 going into the bye. Get drew back and win next 8. 11-5 season

Need help in getting back at a Cowboys fan
quote:
We were discussing the game at work this morning when a co-worker we call Tex said that Brees faked his injury to avoid getting beat by the Cowboys again in two weeks. I was so caught off guard that I couldn't come back with anything good. The nerve of some people! I need to get back at this guy without crossing the line and getting fired. Any ideas?

It is funny to me how the original point of this post remained current for 2 weeks.
Saints got lucky week 1, so we don't have to hear them cry.
Week 2, lots of complaints
What will week 3 bring us?

Gone are the days of iron men and honorable play Today's game is about social media ratings and the political correctness Bree's was the last of the best Brady is still there I guess The NFL dose not want the saints or the eagles to be good any more They are medium to small markets who have already hit their pinnnacle Atlanta bought a new stadium Time to reward them Los Angeles bought a stadium and two teams Time to reward them
Gone are the days where the best team on the field is the one with the best players You have to spend money in the right places You have to do like the Patriots do and Win with the System Not fight against it
The saints are my favorite team I love Our Boys Brees and Wentz are god-fearing men who play the right way for the right reasons This game isn't about any of that anymore though We are watching wasted time We are watching a stacked deck We are watching the Lions bet on the Sheep We are watching the end of the NFL
The coping mechanisms they're using are A1 as frick.

Holy shite... We're 2 weeks into the season. I really don't bother myself with the hearts and minds of Saints fans ever, but is this par for the course for them or any special extra sauce being applied this week for some reason?

Saints/NFL/Collusion frickery is as annoying as the AU fans irrational hate for all things Gus. I can't even hang with some of my buddies during the season or read the AU board because of the obsession.

They’re the most paranoid and delusional fanbase in the NFL. I think that enough people have pushed the narrative around New Orleans that the big bad NFL is out to get them, and now all their Looney Toon fans are taking it and running with it all the way (unlike Cam Jordan’s fat arse).

Half of the people in that video look like they’re heavily involved in a health and beauty pyramid scheme.

That dark haired girl singing the solo in the middle could get it though.
