In the off season AA definitely needs to address the catcher position and bring in a catcher who hits for average.Wish we had given Suzuki the two yr contract as he at least hits for a good average and hits homers at decent rate.I'd resign McCann for another yr.

I think at some point next yr Drew Waters is going to be in the starting lineup. That kid hits for high average everywhere he's at. Soo glad he wasn't traded!

It’s crazy man. Dansby, kakes, ender (again), riley, McCann. Damn near half of our opening day starters on IL and then some.

Acuña with a little bit of payback from last night.
If he gets thrown at later tonight, benches should clear.

Did Snit give him the cold shoulder as he came back in the dugout?

The NL East is hot right now.
Last 10 games:
Braves: 7-3
Nationals: 8-2
Phillies: 6-4
Mets: 6-4
4 teams well above .500 for the season
NL Central (3 teams above .500)
NL West (1 team above .500 / AZ is .500)
AL East (3 teams above .500)
AL Central (2 teams above .500)
AL West (2 teams above .500)
Has to be discouraging to the Nats to be on this hot streak but not really able to make up much ground in the division. On the flip side, the Braves are having to stay hot just to keep everyone at arm's length.

I'm fully prepared to storm the field tonight if they do this shite again. How the Marlins have found a way to be one of my most hated teams, I will never understand.
Seriously, frick the Marlins. If you don't like someone hitting y'all with bat flips, how about you learn to pitch.

Really wanted him to showboat that HR last night a little more. Blow Mattingly a little kiss running down third base line or something.

I’m the same way. They’ve turned into tPOS since Jeter and Mattingly came aboard. They throw at hitters to try and intimidate, knowing good and well they don’t have the offensive firepower to keep up.

they also have nothing to lose. if a player gets suspended....big deal? those types of teams are dangerous, especially in football
