I understand thats what happened, however, would you not expect at some point for Texas and Texas A&M to renew their series? Too much money and publicity would be made off that to leave it alone forever.

Uniforms
- Continue with Nike, but bring back simple old school uniforms with the two stripes on the pants. Simplicity is better.

- Make our helmets shiny again and replace the front hog logo with the word "HOGS" like it used to be.

- Still support a once a year fun uniform for the players and recruiting purposes. I also don't care if we do the helmet stickers or not. Do the players like the stickers?

Agree on all counts.

I absolutely hate the way we bastardized our uniform design during Long’s tenure, starting with the Adidas abominations we trotted out in 2008. Understanding that some of this is probably alt branding being pushed by Nike, we need to sack up and push for our brand standards. Go back to the simplistic designs we had for decades, block letters and number, hogs on the shoulder edges, and double striped pants.

I wasn’t a big fan of the Bert era jerseys we’ve worn since 2014, but I disliked them the least out of all the terrible shite we’ve worn since 2008.

Our current font is awesome. I’m fine with going back to a more traditional look like the ‘64 throwbacks or the Cowboys look but you definitely keep the font.

I like the current unis as well. The alternate uniforms we’ve done under Bielema have all been fantastic. The current set has really been much improved over anything else we’ve had in the SEC outside of the DMAC uniforms.

Agreed, aside from the anthracite. We should never wear those abominations again.

Hope the all-white combo comes back with the new coach as well

I was just saying the same thing. Bielema used the white helmets year one of the new uniforms but then shelved them. I’ve always wondered if that was because it was too much of a Wisconsin look. I’d like to see those come back and I’d like to see us wear the red pants occasionally on the road again.

Just another indication that everything is all about the money, and not one damn bit about what the fans want.

The University of Arkansas looks out for the best interests of it's students and faculty. The campus-wide switch to Pepsi provided more money to improve facilities and increase salaries (attract better professors). If you want us to switch back to Coke then contact their CEO and beg them to offer more money OR pull together 20 million and buy out the Pepsi contract yourself.

The only thing I didn't like about the Nutt era uniforms were that we had hogs on the sholders. Hogs on the helmet is enough. Just leave it blank or put a stripe or something there.

I am glad you agree with me, I think the newer font fits us perfectly.

I prefer a classic look, and I’m not at all a fan of rounded font styles on football uniforms (spare me a Bears reference).

And before someone suggests I dislike them because we’ve lost a lot of games in them, I loathed our first gen (part deux) Nike uniforms in 2010 and 2011.

As someone who worked at an ad agency for several years, we need to revert to a simplistic look, solidify a L&F and brand standards, and stick with them.

I prefer the classic look myself... but whatever we do go with we need to settle on it and stop changing our uniform design every two years. Pumba Hog needs to go though. That one I won't budge on.

One alternate uniform a season I'm fine with or bringing back the all whites for road games.

I'm going to add on this thread and propose a couple of changes as well - some of which probably are more of a campus issue:

1. Renovate the sidewalks along stadium drive. They are too narrow are falling apart. There is a stretch of sidewalk that looks like an earthquake hit.

2. Install a pedestrian bridge to cross MLK. There needs to be a connection from Baum parking to the rest of the campus.

3. Build a parking garage where the Baum overflow is along Beechwood.

4. Repaint and clean the stadium a week before the season AND repaint and clean during a bye week. The chipped paint and garbage left over in the SOC was horrible.

5. Reward students who stay for the final whistle. Create a kiosk or check out station where students can scan their ID at the end of the game for RazorBucks.

6. Create the PiggyBack program where current season ticket holders/donors can donate money to help pay for student access passes. I'm not sure how this would work out but you could either have the money pool to lower the amount for ever-body or you can just give free or reduced passes to students who apply for assistance.

I’m more of a fan of the Hamlin-Jones era jerseys we wore in 2001 and 2002.

I’m good with a Hog or a number, but the shoulder hog was a feature of our jersey design well before Nutt.

As far as uniform changes go, I'm a fan of the more simplistic style of jerseys. I hate the anthracite bullshite, and I too loved the white helmet we brought out a few years back.

But the only one I've seen recently that I REALLY liked a LOT was the cowboys themed uniforms. Those things were bad arse.
