KJ can run but other than that I was unimpressed by him. He never handed the ball off which made him predictable in the run game. He also has major accuracy issues.

kj or starkel. whoever hdat the best toolset hopefully.
starkel made bad decisions with the ball, isn't very mobile, and had poor footwork. if he cleans up his foot work and doesnt try to force it as much he will be fine. some decent oline play might make him look serviceable.
kj looked raw and the staff wasnt going to polish his game much. if he does some throwing work he might make it interesting for the competition this year between QBs. hes definitely got the toolset to play if he gets good coaching.

I think it has to be KJ Jefferson. He has the most upside and I think I’m alone in thinking this but I thought he played well in the start against LSU. He didn’t turn the ball over and hit some big throws down the field.

Bump to show I believed in KJ way back, and also to make another bold statement in saying that I think this dude is truly one of the best QBs in the country. The throw to Burks down the sideline was as good as it gets, and the play where he slipped and still slung an accurate and deep pass to Burks was incredible. Dude can ball.
