All we need right now is a maxi pad, and I think Kiffin is our guy. We need someone to stabilize the program, and then hand over the keys (if necessary). I could never imagine Kiffin being a long term hire, but who knows?

Now watch it be some NFL coach

I seriously can not see where Kiffin would leave to if he starts winning, and winning big here (by Arkansas standards).

If he gets it rolling. He will keep it rolling. His dream job already hired, and fired him. They will not come calling again. I can't think of any blue blood calling him, and even if he did would he actually leave to start over If he gets it rolling here? Like Bobby level 10 win season then 11 win season back to back? Why would he leave as I am sure he would have been recruiting better than bobby would have, and still have a stable group of guys to keep using. So why would he leave when we would be filling the stadium, and paying him handsomely. (remember we offered Gus a bigger pay day than Auburn did) where would he go, and why? I just can't see it unless he just felt he couldnt win a championship here, but if he won that many games back to back. He certainly would feel like he could I am sure. Due to his insane ego.

The issue with Kiffin for me is usc. I know they were coming off sanctions but it really worries me that he had one of the top blue blood jobs in the country but couldn’t win there.

Correction.

They were not "coming off" sanctions they were sanctioned after he was hired. He lost schollies, received a bowl ban and players were allowed to transfer out without penalty.

It is silly to expect a team to remain at the top under those circumstances regardless of how blue their blood is.

The sanctions gutted the team.

Hell all I heard yesterday was how sorry the pac 12 is and why hiring a coach who wins out there would be bad but now we want to go hire a coach who couldn’t even win there?

And the Pac 12 was stronger then than now. Stanford and Oregon were top 10 programs and were contending for national Championship bids.

I don't see how it isn't kiffin. The guy is in most fans top 3. The last 2 hires literally had to fight to win the fans over because they weren't some fans "guy" where as he has a huge swell of support already, and he will be accepted by most. Unlike bert who was always hated by malzahnite. chad who was on some of ours radar as a guy early, but quickly faded because he didn't win enough after building from 1-11(not him), 2-10, 5-7, and at the beginning we started mentioning his name as a possiblity. Then I remember mid season one of our posters mentioning him, and another replied (if chad wants another job he better start getting his shite together because he is underachieving with that group) then we hired him. So he was never ANYONE'S GUY.

Kiffin will atleast put butts in seats, and I think any rational fan who has done his homework realizes the job hopper mantra is over played as hell. I would quit if I wanted megatron, and got forced to have jawalrus russell instead. Wanted the Arkansas job. Got forced to go to tenner instead. Dream job called. Of course you take a top 7 job over tenner. Especially if it is your dream job. (This right here is 100% all of the job hopper BS. He job hopped one time, and that has never went away) stay at bama for 3 years as an OC when he wants to be a HC. Go to a FAU HC job. Stay for 3 years, and now can get a good SEC Job. which Arkansas is at a rung in the SEC above miss st so a Mullen situation can't happen. Also florida is the job Mullen always wanted. Similar to USC.

Kiffin for all of his "unstableness" would bring stability, and wins. Most likely would stay if he won, and we didn't force him out.

I think our only issue with Kiffen is if a bigger program decides to pick him up. His name gained a lot of traction with FSU today and that would probably be a bad thing for us.

If kiffin goes to fsu we need to call on the firing of some BOT members for allowing the Chad contract. Pretty much anyone who signed on to that bullshite, and skipping over norvell/kiffin for that horseshite deserves to be fired. Because they will have successfully missed thier chance to hire 2 winners, and in thier own foolishness hired a top 5 worst coach in all of football ever. While simultaneously pissing off the candidates we skipped over, and forcing us to hire another subpar candidate later.

I honestly can't see Campbell being the guy. He could easily get a better job than us. So that leaves guys like clark who has a very similar chad morris like resume. Whom I do not think we would hire for that reason alone. Leach will not be considered because he hired private investigators to get dirt in the tech admin, and he isnt PC(this reason is retarded)

Maybe norvell considers us if kiffin gets the job? I feel like we are a last option for him. I still think he is pissed for us spreading his dirty laundry last time.

So that leaves the only likely candidate as the only guy nationally linked to our job. Who is p5 coach. He will be the easiest to spin as a good hire. Though anyone who has done any research will know the dude has been on eggshells his entire tenure at VT, and is not considered a good recruiter.

When we hired Morris I said that In a couple years Kiffin would be hired by a good P5 program and we would look back and realize we screwed up passing on him
