Clemson DC Brent Venables just took the podium, as the last years winner, at the Broyles Award finalists dinner in Little Rock to a Hog Call from the entire room. Even joining in at one point. ??

I always get a kick out of programs like Clemson, Aggy, or LSU that puff out their chests like they're bluebloods as they knock our program. LSU was dormant for 50 years between their 1st and 2nd Natty. Clemson cheated with Ford to be relevant in the first place and then they were cap for years until they got Dabo. All it takes is one coach to get it going.

I like the fact that Venables is paying attention to his own moral compass. Whether or not he ever accepts a head coach position, the man is a very good DC.
