Because he's a top tier pitching coach going to a division rival that just pulled in the top class in the country? LSU has been relatively down the past few years, now they're looking up again.

Because we beat him when he was at another school and our experience with him is one single season.
Is he a good coach? Yes, seems to be. One of my picks to replace DVH…does it frighten me that he is going to LSU? No, absolutely not.

It is bad because LSU has been underachieving for years and it just a matter of time before they go back to the top again. A program with that much tradition to stay down that long isn't going to last. You got to take advantage while programs like that are down. It is bad not just for Arkansas but the SEC West.
One season or not, LSU wanted him bad enough to get him from the pros.

No. When LSU was in their programs prime, the SEC wasn’t what it is now.

People shite on Hobbs but he is who helped Kopps last season and he is who led the staff to right at a 4 ERA this year and gave us a swinging dicks chance at the success we had in Omaha.
Johnson had one season here working with Vitello recruits. Damn sure not enough sample size to be bleeding all over the damn place.

LSU is gaining momentum and according to the expectations down in Baton Rouge, they have not been playing good baseball. Now they all have the ingredients in place to be dominant again. The question is will it happen?

They took advantage of a bad SEC yes but they are the Alabama of SEC baseball with crazy arse expectations, they will lie, cheat, steal and kill to get back the glory years. They may not return to that level again but everything that has happened with them lately isn't good news regardless.
