Jaylon Braxton announces he's coming back. Rumor is he was offered $250K by other SEC programs to leave.

Amazing how much power the players have.
They can't have their scholarship pulled once in scholarship.
They don't have to do work off the field for NIL money as intended.
Schools can't block transfer destinations.
The portal was originally intended to allow a re-recruitment or list players available. But no they can enter with no contact tags.
So they school takes all the risk, they know where their payday will be before jumping into the portal, the risk of being left in the portal with our a scholarship to fall back on is gone.
Complete 180 from 5 years ago.

Would’ve been fun to see Washington and hasz in a petrino offense, but the m hoping Easter can develop. If there’s one position we seem to have depth on paper it’s tight end. I think anyway, with the portal the way it is I could be wrong who knows.

Any idea if petrino can swing a couple or his former players from cultville to come with him? Weigman would be nice but I know that’s a pipe dream
