yes, Campbell is worth it.. but from what I have gathered is that Campbell turned down 6.5 million from us for some reason. We may see in a few days.
Kiff may not bring Shannon. I would be surprised if he did. Shannon seems to love the Florida area for his family, background, etc. He is a great coach though.
I don't doubt Kiffin could assemble an incredible staff though

Agreed, Gundy in 2012 was the first thing that came to my mind.
I'll never forget that one. The boards were going crazy with 'confirmed' news that Gundy had accepted, and Bazzel was telling everyone at the LRTDC meeting that day the same. I went to a meeting at work and when I got out, a buddy of mine said "did you see who the Hogs just hired?" When I said Gundy he replied "nope, Bret Bielema" which floored me. This is starting to feel a bit like that.
Wally is a know-nothing simpleton jackass, but I do think he may have stumbled into potentially being right on this with his "too much smoke" tweet, though he couched it with his typical idiocy. It just feels like everyone is going one way with Kiffin and that HY is about to go another with someone either from the original pool or out of the blue.
That said, watch Kiffin be announced tomorrow.
