I'd bet that Chip wants absolutely no part of the SEC.

Bert (and Urban Meyer for that matte) has become a poster boy for how the SEC will eat your lunch regardless of how well you're doing at your current place, and I think he probably serves as a warning to other coaches in decent situations looking to move on that the grass isn't greener, especially in this meatgrinder.

Just look at the fact that programs like Tennessee, Florida, and Auburn have all had to dig into the mid major ranks for their coaches after getting turned down by higher profile candidates.

I think there will always be those type A personality coaches who want to go up against the best, but I'd bet that Bert's tenure has done quite a bit to quash the notion that the SEC is this universal dream destination conference for college football coaches.
