I have a hard time understanding why anyone would be excited if the money guys are taking back the program. It never produced any positive results in football in the modern era and was arguably the reason we had to suffer through basketball hell for over a decade? I don't give a shite if the people in charge are yankees, lesbians, from Arkansas, not from Arkansas, space aliens or fast food. I just want us to win and I don't see how the guys pulling the strings knowing frick all about football and basketball will help.

If they brought us double digit wins in football and didn't foul up the others sports... a lesbian yankee from outer space that just happens to look like fast food would be ideal.
I would hope that they don't keep messing up our uniforms but if Vladimir Putin announced he wanted to be our AD and could pull it off then I'm down with it.

Because it supports the ego driven narrative of himself as a bigshot on this board. Inside this narrative is the interwoven metaphor of current American 2 party politics. He sees it as MAGA.
While it doesnt help to be negative, one has to question anyone celebrating the current state of flux. But hey, throwing piles of money at problems is a panacea so we have nothing to worry about.
