Is this true? I have paid attention to Hog Football for years, Basketball for about the same, just got in to hog Baseball....

Watching the game, DVR'd it... and heard this... thought, Really? Didn't Debriyn have some success?

thanks...

Not at Van Horn's rate. Norm and Van horn have similar numbers but Van Horn has done it in half the time.

Is this where we kiss Van Horn's arse so he doesn't leave?

Is this a contract year for DVH or something? Wouldn't imagine he'd go anywhere.

Ignorant comment by the announcer. Norm took us to 4-5 CWS including losing the championship game is ‘79. His overall post season appearances may be lower, but the format was completely different back then. Not as many teams made it, and perhaps there were no super regionals either.

I like DVH but Baum Stadium was built before he got here for a reason.

Yep, our best finish ever was under Norm.

It is ignorant and of the same mold of commentary made about Nutt when he was here going a decade without a championship of any kind.

DVH's most successful team was the team he inherited from Norm.

I’ll take the two teams that didn’t go 0-2 in the CWS.

DVH isn’t Mike Anderson. It isn’t necessary to base his success on conference standings. He is capable of leading a team farther than the opening weekend of the NCAA tournament
