Shot under 40%. Yet again Gafford wasn't a big factor. WAY too many threes and too many turnovers.
On the bright side, our D kept us in the game again, but this was an inexcusable loss.

I’m starting to get worried given that we have lost two games at home against teams that aren’t very good. WKU is honestly better than Tech, and I could probably excuse one loss to youth, but 2/3 is alarming. I’ll let the season play out, but the trend needs to start going back upwards rather soon.

Its something we've seen before with Mike Anderson teams here. The team will be playing well, we will be talking about making a run in the NCAA tourney, and then we will have a run of games where we look completely out of it and against bad teams to boot.
The SEC is not a strong conference this year. We can't let OOC games slip through our fingers and hope that SEC results alone will be enough to polish up our resume come selection time.
There is still plenty of talent on the team but we need to start utilizing it quickly.

Newsflash we weren't supposed to be very good this year. Idk why so many of you are surprised. Even if we dont make the tourney though Mike will get one more year at least. Why, I dont know.

I agree.... I think our start made some of us (myself included) think we might be solid.
I think the last 3 games have showed us we aren't very good.
I haven't gotten to see much of any of the games so far but following them online seems to point to a lot of inconsistent play.
Not ready to give up, but the start is certainly confusing.

I think the early games where we looked surprisingly good is why everyone is so blah now. But truthfully if the football team didn’t suck so bad then we probably wouldn’t have latched on to the basketball team so quickly so I blame football. Maybe. Sorta.

You gotta let football go piggies. The reason we are this bad in football is because fat man wasmt fired 3 years ago. Jesus christ could not have took us to a bowl game this year. Yes we had some terrible losses and not having storey start over kelley early on is on the coaches but we were some key injuries away from beating ole miss and being exactly where we were after bielemas first year I dont remember all this clamoring after his dumpster fire start even with better players. You are letting the fact that we face sucked for so long and your tired of sucking be blamed on Chad which isnt fair. Be patient he wasnt the coach for all the other bad seasons we already fired him hes only been here 1 year.

I can’t argue with that- it’s all true I know. Maybe when everyone’s bowls are over I can feel cleansed of the season. Honestly tho, I really didn’t have high expectations, I just wanted to see a a spark of something good to come and didn’t get that, but hopefully will next season.

Trust me I feel your pain. And if we arent improved next year by 3 wins or more he can carry his arse imo. We just have to give him a small amount of time at least
