anyone who lives in this area of the state has inside info on Strong.

Have had Dinner with the man with a group a couple of times.

He hasn't been fired... YET! But it is vastly expected.

Also, look at the Ole Miss Vandy game. What happens if OM and MS both don't go bowling. LMAO!

Can we get shirts that say, Mississippi State Champs?

Would he be willing to restart his career as a D.C. at Arkansas?

Will his buyout be uneffected by his doing so?

Lol at LSU losing out in all of this, first doesn't matter if you're far from the best available.

I said this a few weeks ago, but watch UT nab Herman, Fisher say no thanks to the notion of have to take on (and be measured against) Saban every year, and Fleck take the Oregon job or something like that.

The full on melt when LSU is left with their richards in their hands and have to either keep O or make some stupid hire like Holgorsen or Rich Rod will be delicious.

Rumors were Sumlin would be fired if Herman was a sure thing as well...

LSU was, on paper, a very desirable job when they hired Miles.

The don't understand that for some reason.

Is it happening?

Something has got to change defensively, no doubt about that.

Is Strong the man to do the job though? Really?

He is a big name, was a good DC, has ties to the sate.

The better question is if Bert is willing to move away from primarily zone with his defense? Otherwise its like several coaches who's coordinators on his side of the ball are primarily teachers in practice and are allowed to call plays from his book not theirs.

Strong has had shitty defense at Texas. They lost to Kansas today. With even a half arse defense you beat Kansas.

I don't believe Strong and O could co-exist as underlings.

Not sure you really want to hire guys that are looking for their next gig before they even get here.

You ask for a 2-3 year commitment at minimum so you can have some sort of continuity in the program.

Looking like the AD wants to give him one more year while all the money wants him gone yesterday.

So after a loss to Auburn early next year, Strong will be available.
