and that's why Ryan Pulley is melting down. When I saw he changed his # to #1 I said to myself that he's not done anything to deserve that jersey.
Pulley sure seems to think he's pretty entitled to greatness. He got clowned on that one.
also, Andrew Hutchinson reported today that Jake Hall is wearing #50 and trying out OL. I thought Hall had been slated to move over there back in the fall.

“Unfortunately Kody suffered a broken foot during yesterday’s practice. It required surgery that went well today and doctors expect a full recovery. It’s a pretty standard foot injury that we’ve dealt with in the past and we expect him to be full-go by June. If anyone knows how to battle adversity it’s Kody Walker.”

That really sucks for the kid. The amount of injuries he's had here is unreal. Hopefully he's back and in game shape by August.

Yeah. I'm much more concerned with him as a person than a player, but we do need him. Especially early.

I think Kody has broken a bone for every year he's been eligible.
I was thinking he got through last year without a break for a second, then I remember that he broke his hand and was out several games.
And yes, we have had an unusual number of breaks to the foot the last three years.

There's probably a part of Walker that's thinking "screw this, I'm not going to make a living playing football anyway." I wouldn't blame him. I do think he is a great talent and is/was going to break 1,000 this season. He has one of my favorite high school highlight tapes.
