Sad that a stadium built in 1999 sits vacant like that.
Why doesn't SMS look at taking it over and having an actual stadium of its own?

That sounded very wink, wink, nod, nod, on that no booze there. I believe the operative word is no OBVIOUS booze. So wrap your cans in a paper towel before you pull them out of the cooler would be my guess.

Never was an issue at regionals we have hosted. Just use cups, as always.

That stadium sits out of town from Springfield and is probably a 15-20 minute drive from campus whereas Hammons Field is a couple blocks over from the north side of campus.

That's understandable, but it would still be something the university owned. Issues like not hosting a super regional wouldn't be an issue either.
Dunno, sad to see what could be a nice venue, only 16 years old just there vacant and basically rotting.
