I'm to the point with the football program that I'm not going to get optimistic any more. I'm just 'show me'. Then show me again.

How many games does SilverDick need to win over a 3 year span?

If he doesn't get 20 in that period, he'll be on the hot seat

Probably also depends on how we’re losing/playing. If we’re still making stupid mistakes while winning 6 or 7 games, the natives will be restless.

We no longer do hot seats here. We're going Salem witch trials and stake burning.

Is 24 too much to ask? A bowl every year. Win 1, prefer 2 at least over three years.
I need to see 2 'good' years back to back, but not going to expect this year to be one of them.
Just what it will take to get me hopeful again

Watching the other new head coach first team meeting speeches & press conferences is coach speech overload.

that was, well... Terrible? I mean, do any of these coaches have a personality that isn't forced, fake, an act?

Good Lord, I could teach these multi millionaires a few things.

It was bad. If him or what I’ve seen of Golesh was our head coach, it wouldn’t fill me with the warm & fuzzies.

After hearing from Silverfield, Hunter either got lucky or someone else pulled the trigger on hiring him, similar to Cal. In the world that Hunter alone makes the hire, he ends up with Morris.

Morris would’ve been way better

This is all fluff. Never has a coaches success ever been determined by how personable they come off at media events. We’ve all lived through Bill Belichick and Nick Saban dynasties

Maybe so. At this point it’s just personal preference & opinions.

Maybe, but it doesn't hurt when the coach has to do their own fund raising for NIL cause his AD is incompetent.

I realize the conferences are a world apart, but Indiana would like a word.

Indiana is an inconvenient reference point for a lot of people’s idea of what type of star talent it takes to compete at a high level.

At the end of the day it’s still about developing players & building a culture. Wrong fit high star players are counter productive.

23 wins in 3 seasons would be the best 3-year run in 15 years.
