Silverfield is a very high energy, positive guy so far. Does a great interview and knows how to say things the right way. So refreshing. Hope it translates into success.

Certainly seems to check a lot of the boxes we’d want in a head coach

To be honest he seems phony to me ... but hey the car salesmen act can work on some people. If he's convincing the big money then that works for me.
I did kinda laugh a couple days ago when he said this is the best job in the country. I'm a pretty big homer, but not sure I could say that and really believe myself.

I don't get that vibe at all either. He just seems to be positive and as he said, he is trying to shed the loser mentality. You have to be positive considering our program has been in the shitter for so long.

He seemed phony at times, believe that’s just the nature of a new place being tired & making the press rounds. Lots of glad handing & kissing babies.
But when he’s authentic, it really stands out. I’ve watched some of his press conferences at Memphis since he was hired & some of the phoniness here has been easier to see.

Think he had a fantastic press conference. Quincy statements says a lot. Hope his positive energy translates to wins. He didn’t give off Chad vibes to me. He did initially in the team meeting but I think he killed the press conference
