I heard a rumor today that Pittman's already made some hires, but they're still coaching other teams. I don't know if it's true, but I asked myself the same question you asked and that would explain it.

I think you have to flush out most of the current staff. stock it with what you offered. honestly at this point like or hate pittman we are stuck with him for atleast 5 years probably unless the wheels completely come off.

We’re hearing so many names that I’m hoping Sam is just lining up options at this point while waiting for this top choices to say yay/nay.

considering he received over 500 texts after he was hired and a lot of those were coaches offering their services I'm sure a lot of random names will be connected to the open jobs.
I'm betting to fill out the most if not the rest of the staff we're probably waiting till all the teams finish their season. he hired the bare essentials to hit the recruiting trail. coaches that aren't currently coaching would have already been hired imo.
