I think they were telling people they feel confident but that doesn't mean good in the slightest.

I don't understand why people take what coaches say seriously. It means nothing.

Anyone one else notice Mcadoo running with DBs today? Looks like a number switch to 24 as well

Walk ons or not, two can’t be replaced by 1 and not expect a drop. Especially in the leadership that Morgan brought on defense.

There’s a reason UGA fans weren’t upset he left.

Three years in, we should have more depth than this. Relying and dying by what is available in the portal is no way to live…

I picked us for an optimistic 9-3 though in a few discussions I put up the caveat of "as long as our passing game doesn't regress too much without Burks" and "we can't afford a string of injuries to one of our position groups on defense."

Needless to say... our passing game has regressed and our secondary was obliterated with injuries the first game of the season. Even by bad things always happen to Arkansas football standards that was uncalled for.

I think we get to 7-5 if we get some people healthy. The back half of the schedule is a bit more forgiving than the front and we play some teams who are on the ropes themselves. That having been said, 4-8 is also on the table if the team collapses down the home stretch.

I think this is going to be one of those if only seasons we look back on a decade from now and shake our heads.

I’m gonna need next week’s lotto numbers if you got ‘em.

If this team collapses and go 4-8 then I have no doubt in my mind that one of the coordinators has to go. That would be Odom.

Odom has to find a way to improve this defense and give this team a chance at a decent year. Giving up 32 points a game will lose you a lot of games. I don't expect the offense to win every game we play, that isn't fair on them.

I mean, I don’t really care how we play down the stretch, outside of stringing together some inexplicable shutouts Odom needs to go. Period.

This pass defense is historically bad, and the personnel situation there is so bad that we’re in perpetual “portal or bust” mode for the foreseeable future due to recruiting and evaluation misfires in the backend.

For all his faults, Briles’ offensive issues can be course corrected by Pittman taking a heavier hand and vetoing some of the drive stalling bullshite playcalls when Briles reverts into Madden mode.

Our issues on offense are surface level and can be corrected. Our issues in defense are several years in the making and take a lot of work, luck, recruiting, and portal magic to come back from. That’s on Odom.

I'll revise to 6-6. Just don't see enough talent on defense and we're due for more injuries on offense.

I’m withholding judgment till after this game. I want to to see fight or quit before I determine in my mind how this team goes forward.

This team needs a win before the bye in order to regain confidence and this ain’t UAPB so this would be this year’s super bowl as far as I’m concerned.

The losses have stung, but the only bad one was to aggy and that was self inflicted.

We still have a shot at a nice season if the team decides to come together and and kick as much arse as they can.

I miss the leadership we lost from last year, that was our biggest loss IMO…..
