He doesn't have enough experience. Not enough contacts. He wouldn't build as good a staff as Pittman can. All my guess.

Also, Brady would have turned it down because he likely knows he would be over his head.

You want a guy who has coached college less than one season to be the HC?

Why not just call up Jones at Greenwood, he's proven he can win with what he has available.

Same thing with retaining Barry Lunney. He simply doesn't have enough experience. Who would he have hired? Some guys from Bentonville High? The only other guys he ever worked with are the dudes we just fired.

That isn't true, he's been an OC in college before.
