I didn't like Nutt because he had a big mouth and was lazy. The results didn't bother me so much but how the games were played and the embarrassing bowl games that Arkansas should have won against weaker competition.

Some of the media has Arkansas as top team preseason and that is just crazy talk. Arkansas overachieved last year with the covid extra year being a good reason. However I feel with so many question marks that Arkansas should be ranked in the 20s instead. They need to prove they belong in the top 10.

I got Arkansas down as 7-5 which is a good year for Arkansas. We all have to keep in mind that Sam is entering his third year of a major rebuild.

I remember that game and left my seat in the fourth quarter. I knew we were going to lose and lost in the most clown way of doing so.

We should win every single one of our non conference. Yes I know cincy and byu are good teams but those are games we HAVE to win. If we’re going to compete in the sec west where we are out talented most Saturday’s we have to be able to win every game that we have the most talent on the field regardless of how well coached they are. If we can take care of business against the non con, split with the Mississippi schools, beat south Carolina, beat Missouri and take 2 of the 3 against tamu lsu and auburn there’s a path to 9-3. I think 8-4 is the most likely with us taking 1 of 3 vs tamu auburn and lsu. If we lose to both Mississippi schools or drop a non con game making a bowl becomes sketch

We should win all of our non conference games. But having Cincinnati as the first game of the year without Burks makes this game a hard bet. I see Arkansas winning in a very close game.

South Carolina is unknown but I have a feeling Arkansas drops this game as K.J struggles in the air and Arkansas is still trying to find a replacement for Burks.

Missouri state is a win.

The Aggies are a toss up but I'm leaning towards a Loss as the defense shows signs of struggle and the passing offense continues to struggle.

Alabama is a loss.

I don't see beating Miss state three years in a row.

BYU is the type of team that isn't as talented as an SEC team but against a struggling Arkansas team, I see them getting a jump on Arkansas.

This is part the schedule that Arkansas starts putting the pieces together and Sam gets his team fired up against Auburn. Sam gets his first victory against Auburn.

Liberty is a win.

LSU is still a mess but Arkansas gets a victory.

Arkansas gets revenge against Ole Miss.

Arkansas wins against an undercoached Missouri team.

Arkansas beats the shite out of a Big Ten team in a minor bowl.

Arkansas will make a bowl, they just aren't able to overachieve every single year. This year brings fans back on solid ground.

He's greatly overachieved up to this point. Hope I'm wrong, but this is Razorback Football

We finally saw leadership on the field by Arkansas kids encouraged by a Razorback lover who understands how to pump his players up. Hopefully this will continue.

and it is much more than that...

Development is happening, pride in the product that they are delivering as well. And finally a decent NIL product. Did you see the Bobby Bones twitter...

Dude just signed up 7 nils at the UofA.

I think we may take a step back, but be back up to 9 wins and more sooner than later.

I haven't seen the 2023 schedule yet but Arkansas is poised to have nine plus wins or better. K.J most likely comes back and he will throw to the best WR depth since the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

If Chad didn't leave Arkansas in such mess then the rebuild would be much faster.

I would say Bobby and Nutt left it worse.. Morris was a useless coach but he could recruit.

If we lose to South Carolina and Mississippi state we aren’t beating Texas A&M lsu or ole miss. We probably don’t beat auburn either. South Carolina and Missouri are far and away the easiest 2 games on our schedule

South Carolina is not easy and Spencer Rattler could be a problem for a defense that is rebuilding in some areas. They have a decent coach and are riding a wave of momentum.

Arkansas won a close game against State at home. Leach can be unpredictable at times and it is on the road.

The Aggies you don't know what you will have with them still this early in the year. They usually have games where they look top 10 and sometimes very average.

LSU will continue to have QB problems and that gives the edge to Arkansas.

Ole Miss will break in at QB and with what happened last year and the game being at home, Arkansas will get the victory.

Arkansas will beat Auburn as Harsin continues to underperform and Arkansas doesn't go into the game having a letdown loss the game before.

Bobby left Bert with some talent but wasted it in his first three seasons. Nutt didn't leave Bobby anything and that is why he bolted across the river. Bobby had to start a lot of freshmen in his first year. Morris gutted over 30 players in his two years and that 2019 class that he bragged about is average and certainly not enough to put Sam in a good situation.

Spencer wasn’t great last year and the secondary for our team should be our strength, we have tons or returning experience back there. I know South Carolina is not a gimme win, what game in the sec is, but that is still a must win game if we want to have a decent season and I still don’t think South Carolina will be anywhere near the level of lsu and auburn

We're an 9-4 team returning its starting Qb and the vast majority of its run game while upgrading its defense. Losing 5 games with our schedule would be a pretty massive disappointment IMHO. I mean, look at that schedule and pick out the 5 losses.

Cincy--could go either way really.
USC--should not lose
MO St--really, really should not lose
A&M--beat em last year, so it's doable but definitely a toss up
Bama--lost by a score last year, not out of the realm of possibility for us to finally get on the board vs Saban. But... We'll call it an L for now
MSU--beat em last year but another year under Leach will of course have that offense humming... I'd probably rank MSU as the #2 most difficult game on the schedule as of now
BYU--solid team but should be a W if we take care of business.
Auburn--shouldn't be losing to them with a new QB and a coach that probably will never shake off the off season bs he went thru this year
Liberty--W
LSU--shouldn't be losing to them, new coach and tons of turnover
Ole miss-breaking in a new QB, lots of question marks, barely lost last year on the last play of the game. Could go either way but I feel better about them than I do MSU
Miz--should be a win

Yea, losing to Bama, A&M, Both Mississippi schools and 1 of Cincy, BYU, LSU or Auburn should have us feeling pretty stupid about the Pittboss extension/raise. We just return too much and we were too competitive against everyone (but Georgia) last year to have that much of a drop off. But... I don't think that will be the case.

You’re spot on. We should be 8-4/9-3 this season with schedule and talent we have returning

South Carolina is in better shape than other two right now. LSU and Auburn and still dealing with off the field problems and QB issues.
