As soon as the last whistle blows.
What a shite show.

He’s still a good coordinator but he’d be so much better if he’d just trust the players to execute and make plays and leave all the Mickey Mouse high school bullshite at the house it rarely works vs high level competition

I haven't minded a lot of those plays but that was a really dumb time for that trick play. Get some yards and tie the game

It’s just a lack of logic.
His decision was to put the ball in the hands of a WR instead of a QB when we needed points. You get 10 more yards on an out route or a run play and let automatic Little come in and tie the game before half. Then you get the ball to start second half with chance at more points.
What a damn train wreck. It’s like we went back to Chad Morris for a half.

I know none of our current players have ever played in a Bowl Game but did someone forget to tell them that the game lasts longer than 15 minutes?

I really though for sure some WR would ste up today but it’s clear now that KJ wasn’t locking on to Burks all day every day because he couldn’t read a defense.

He’s a very good developer and teacher of the game. You can tell kj has come a long way but his in game play calling has to get better

And people just forget all about this when he gets too cute. Briles has been a big net positive all around for the program. I can live with the dumb play calls at times if he can develop QBs.

I agree that he's done a great job with KJ and his in-game stuff is good between the 20s. But he still calls a lot of baffling plays that kill drives and shits the bed on third downs and in the red zone. That's as much of a part of his job as the development part and he keeps making mistakes there over and over.

Sure but we are never going to get a perfect OC. Those are his faults and hopefully he will get better over time (still young). I'll live with the above if we get the positives he brings.
He did a great job coming out of the half.

I am still much more down on the Defense than the Offense.
Comparing the two, and what their coordinators are paid, the experience they supposedly have, their recruiting overall.. their staff overall...
Why does Odom get such a pass seemingly always?
Brile is still young, pay is much less, and the offensive recruiting has been better imho!
