Yeah Connor Van Hoose is their ace, he is the Patriot League preseason pitcher of the year and was 1st team last year. Bucknell is predicted to win the league as well.

Navy 16-4 37-17
Lehigh 8-12 21-29
Bucknell 10-10 21-28
Holy Cross 12-8 24-29
Army 10-10 25-31
Lafayette 4-16 8-44

Projected Regional Teams (1): Navy

Player of the Year: Logan Knowles, OF, Navy

Pitcher of the Year: Connor Van Hoose, RHP, Bucknell

Freshman of the Year: Anthony Giachin, 3B, Army

Can't find anything that projects Bucknell to win the Patriot League.

I could have some bad info

The conference's official release.

Van Hoose Named PL Preseason Pitcher of Year, Bucknell Tabbed as PL Favorite

quote:

LEWISBURG, Pa. – After earning First and Second Team All-Patriot League honors a season ago, Bucknell seniors Connor Van Hoose and Luke Johnson were named to the Preseason All-Patriot League Baseball Team, released by the conference office on Thursday. Van Hoose was also selected as the PL Preseason Pitcher of the Year. Each makes his first appearance on the 12-player preseason squad, which was decided by a vote of the league’s head coaches and sports information directors.

The preseason poll was also released, and the Bison finished in first with 43 points and six first-place votes.

Johnson: Keaton McKinney is on a really strict pitch count these first four weeks of the season. He could have a perfect game going and we’d pull him.

That's cool. I could be wrong but I don't think Schaeffer has been doing baseball for the past 2-3 seasons. I don't mind Elson but will be nice to have someone paired with him. For all the hate Chuck gets he was one of the more enjoyable baseball PBP guys I've listened (college or pro)

It was by far Chuck's best sport to announce. Enjoyable years.

Rick has been doing recent years but only home games. He would do the color and typically the 5th inning to give Phil a break.
Phil would be the only one to travel to away series.

I really hope the SEC Network+ guys are totally different and better this year. Those two yahoos that have been doing it the last few years are painful, painful, painful.

It was the only sport he was good at and they took him off. Horrible decision. I like Chuck, great guy, but the only sport he should be doing is baseball and it's the only one that he doesn't do. Makes zero sense.

Brett Dolan is the new PxP guy replacing Alex Perlman.

Troy Eklund is returning as color analyst.

Brett is solid, Perlman was a cheeseball. I'll never forget his call when Kingsley had a big dunk one time. "Moses Kingsley...from AFRICA!"

Chuck was my only option in Missouri for a while. Always thought he did a fantastic job in baseball.

Listening to Anthony Rizzo walk up to the plate to "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus in the middle of a world series run was one of the most awkward things I've ever experienced.
