We're bitching about getting better now?

I'm more amused we're bragging about finally making middle of the pack in penalties than bitching.

3rd in the SEC shows discipline isn’t our problem

Our stats on defense show it’s not our problem

Our problem is on offense. New players in a new system.

But knowing that doesn’t appease the disgruntled anti-Pittman fans still offended by events in the past.

Stop the run game and force Tay Tay to throw the football. It's not that hard to game plan against us, load the box.

anti-Pittman

In fairness, if Pitt didn't do dumb things like pass the ball on 4th and 1 then that would help.

We appear to be a better team this season, but we still do dumb things that cost us wins.

Choked away a win at Stillwater. Nobody disputes that.

Ran out with too much swagger vs UAB. This is inexcusable considering how bad we've been.

Ultimately, though, if the team comes home with a win tomorrow then we won't have much to complain about. Winning changes things.

Lacking confidence in Pittman is not being anti-Pittman. It's a fair expectation based on prior results.

What do we expect from an OL coach with no head coaching experience?

Did we expect anything better than a struggle?

I thought at the very least, we would have a dominant offensive line year in and year out. Turned out not to be the case, unfortunately.

He could do it at Georgia as an easier result of a winning program and more money to spend.

At Arkansas who hasn't been a consistent winner in decades and less money, it was going to be a big challenge.

How many dominant O Line is out there? Where do they rank in NIL $$$...
There is your answer overall.

He can coach OL, but with the lack of wins, $$$$$$ is a major culprit!

Is it? I think turning our decade long dumpster fire into a 9 win program in 2 years was nothing short of a miracle.

He's exceeded expectations 2 times and fallen short of expectations 2 times, yet people talk like this is year 5 of Chad Morris.

Is it true that we have boosters actually willing to put money into NIL, but not until there's a coaching change? Or is that no matter who we get, it's going to be dependent upon the fans in the same way the Grove Collective is? If it's the latter, we really are screwed.

He exceeded expectations for the 9 win season, which, while no miracle, was impressive and misleading. There was a first rounder at WR that KJ could lock in on, and results have been very different since. You think 7-6 with an OT win vs Kansas exceeds expectation ? I don't.

I see no comparisons with Chad. That's another exaggeration. Like I said, it's fair to lack confidence in Pittman based on prior results.

No. Winning 3 games in an all SEC schedule in a year where we weren't favored to win any absolutely is, though. You'd be the first person I've ever met that said Pittman didn't exceed expectations in year 1.

Regardless, the fact that you think one wide receiver should get the credit for 9 wins before the head coach tells me everything I need to know.

Give Pittman all of the blame, but none of the credit.

Arkansas isn't able to win the bidding wars against larger states that more than double the size of the Arkansas fan base.

Population of states that won national titles in the last 10 years.

2023 Michigan 10 million
2022 Georgia 10.9
2021 Georgia 10.9
2020 Alabama 5 million
2019 LSU 4.5 million
2018 Clemson 5.2 million
2017 Alabama 5 million
2016 Clemson 5.2 million
2015 Alabama 5 million
2014 Ohio State 11.7 million

The problem is when the NIL collectives is pushed to become more grassroots and that leaves the fans to do most of the grunt work. The biggest states will have that advantage.
