Hopefully OM first postseason loss gets in their heads.

Maybe we jump out to a big lead tomorrow and can save the pen

Too many unknowns, but I know everyone loves to armchair QB our pitching decisions

Whoever positioned Ibuprofen where they did needs a raise.

That would be Nate Thompson and his little green towel

Man I hope we get quality innings from Hagen and/or Tygart tomorrow. Tygart especially has been dicey lately. Kinda wish he could’ve found his way to work a stress free inning tonight or against Stanford just to get his feet back underneath him.

Still have major choke chances tomorrow but there’s no way we go committee Saturday.

Mac only threw like 80 pitches right?

He would be ready.

If we win tomorrow, as bad as it would suck, I think I'd throw Mac, Smith and Noland all on short rest, Sat, Sun, Mon

Yep, as I said earlier, if he's playing straight up, he's diving for that ball at best. When it came off the bat, I said, "he just won it", only to see the medicine man in perfect position

Their lineup looks pedestrian besides Elko and Alderson right now. And we worked Elko tonight.

Their 6,7,8 guys look like they haven’t hit puberty.

A lot of "Arkansas fans" who show up in this thread/board/on social media don't have the slightest idea about sports especially baseball.

Hindsight makes it easy to always be right as these "fans" believe they are.

Arkansas baseball has won 45+ games each of the last 5 seasons. They are the ONLY NCAA team to do so.

Told my wife that last night.

"If we pitch Noland and we win 3-2, great job DVH.

If we win 10-2, bad job DVH pitching him when we knew Ole Miss was pitching a bum.

If we lost 10-2, bad job pitching Noland on short rest!"

This was talking about who would start tonight. Thankfully Smith and Taylor were nails.

Hoping this is the “the Russian is cut!” moment for Ole Miss.

Whoever positioned buprophen needs a bonus. If he was playing straight up that's a game winning hit

The other thing about Ibuprofen is that he took a shot from Battles on that 2nd out catch and stood his ground, which saved a run and ultimately the game.

If he stumbles or falls, the tying run comes in.

Yep, no idea what the frick battles was doing there. With two outs, fine, go get it, but if battles catches that running away from home, the guy on third might score. Just pure dumb.

Agreed, but Battles has to know the OF positioning.

More importantly, was that dude joking about Perry Costello or not? I don't remember seeing him in the CWS, but he did frick ASU, I believe it was, in the regionals.

Do we start the medicine man instead of Gregory tomorrow or roll with the chance that Gregory gets on once or twice and plays good D?

With the game being at 3pm central, that sun is going to become an issue by the late innings.

You have to go for the ball until you are called off. Outfield position means nothing if the outfielder slips, loses the ball, etc. That’s why it’s bullshite the grief Shaddy took. All Eric Cole had to do was take charge of the situation and call him off.
