Art Briles and Sonny Dykes did coach together for three years at Texas Tech for Mike Leach, and Kendal was a high school senior that first year in the fall of 2000
and that only means that Kendal Briles knows Dykes like he knows everyone else in Texas

My guess is there probably is no legitimacy to this at the end of the day but it’s still getting ridiculous.

Ok but y'all's 247 board during the Briles stuff was hilarious. There was a poster claiming to be an insider who was saying it was a done deal and everyone believed him. He said something like "It's 4th and goal... touchdown, game over". Then after it was announced Briles was staying he said he never had any sources and just wanted it to happen

Trey tonight on the Briles situation. He’s said nothing like this in regards to the Miami, State and South Carolina jobs. Not good at all for us.
And now this from the RyanMalletsScantron guy. Whoever he is, he does have connections to the staff so it sounds like we are about to be in the market for an OC.

Yep. frick Yurachek if he lowballed him again. This couldn’t happen at a worse time either. All those shiny new receivers can bail this week, if they want, and still land elsewhere.
