It is the curse of the Cowboy's Stadium. It will be something utterly ridiculous... like we score a TD to tie the game on the last play and while going for the extra point to win our kicker is struck down with amoebic diarrhea, A&M recovers the ball, and runs it back for a two point conversion to win.

State 247 just posted an update saying they expect a decision by tonight. Said the contract is done and terms are agreeable to both sides and now it’s up to Briles to say yes or no. Supposed to let Arnett know directly.

I would definitely be shocked as well to see Briles come to State. The next 48 hours should be interesting. At the end of the day, im just glad to see we are actually trying to bring a decent staff in and not making a Matt Luke type hire to keep “stability”.

Most of college football in the same boat. College coaches are so entitled now and even some AD’s its hard to keep a stable program.
