I don’t always hate the state outline’s but this one doesn’t look great. Too cookie cutter.

I like it

I think it looks really good with the matching stain inside the 3pt lines. It's more of a stylized "logo" version of the state, we've used it quite a bit in hype photos and press releases

Regarding this slobbering thing: Many years ago when we had a deer camp, the older folks referred to milk as “calf slobbers”. You’d get that along with some cathead biscuits as part of breakfast. Just a little factoid to share.

In other parts of Arkansas calf slobbers evidently means meringue on a pie. LINK
