also somehow this year feels very reminiscent of the 2011 season where we were basically the #3 team, but the gap between us and 1-2 is a very real, very tangible thing.

with that said... hogs by 10!

2011 we just didn't have the push on both lines. Franklin, Highsmith, and Bequette carried the front 7 to a point, while our next wave of D-line talent was a bit younger (Flowers, Jones, Smith). In 2010, our O-line was salty, but it took them time to gel. 2011 just never truly gelled and Wilson paid for it.

We don't have the plethora of skill poistion players like 2011, but our line/front 7 plays better. We may not win as many games as 2011, but I don't think we'll see blowouts like 2011.

Who knows, well find out in ~13 hours.

Well, the good news is that if we lose maybe the Aggie fans will finally stop stalking us. I don't mind other fans trying to troll us but the Aggies are so bad at it. Its like being insulted by a not particularly bright 2 year old.

Sorry Old Sarge, but your boys need some work.

We're playing with house money, nobody expected us to be here and ranked #8, and nobody thought this would be the biggest game of the SEC season through week 5 a month ago.

If we keep it close and respectable, I'll be happy. I'll shite a whole cinder block and then paint it red and keep it in my living room if we win.

like I said. I still feel really good about us vs any other team in the SEC besides those 2. OM is a tough team, and on the road we can lose that one. also Bama is not as good as UGA. not really even close honestly. this is a one team year, and the rest if the teams are bunched up under UGA. This game I knew was gonna be one of those brick wall games. I don't feel that way about any of the others. Bama is a very long shot, but not impossible like this one. I just had fan hope we would play them close.

Yeah Bama's defense honestly doesn't even look close to Georgia's

Still gonna get our arse kicked by them, but may put up a touchdown or two

I actually think we'll fare a lot better against Bama than we did UGA, this was our trial by fire in an overly hostile environment and we learned what we really needed to work on against the top tier.

It was ugly all around but I hope taking these lumps now will help us to iron out the major kinks and refocus. We weren't prepared for this by our previous opponents or environments
