Also, for the last several years (and maybe this game too), the Verizon Arena game has been the largest crowds the Hogs played in front of during the non conference part of the schedule.

Lol, had less than Indiana this year.

Had less than Minnesota last year.

Had less than Houston 2 years ago.

Talking out of your arse bud.

Go back and check the long run, bud - not just the last two.
Whoop de do... ~ 400 more tickets scanned at Bud Walton for Indiana game than for UTSA at Verizon.

I assume half of this is just being silly, right? Because taking issue with playing 1 game of basketball in Little Rock is just, IMO, stupid. Add in to that it was Saturday after semester finals were over thus it was Christmas break for the students just makes it even more stupid.

Football having one of the few home games away is a valid argument to have, basketball when you play 18 (just counted, could have missed one here or there) at home and it’s Christmas break is just eye rollingly dumb.

Hell, let's play a game in PB again and maybe have a game against stAte every other year in J Boogie.

That way all Hog fans can come watch a LIVE Shooty Hoops game..

If the whole camera crew factor wasn't involved I would agree, but it is a little ridiculous that we won't get to watch the games online or tv when they play in NLR. Is it the end of the world? No but still silly in 2018.

I’ll concede no tv is stupid. <- my word for the day.

Why can’t they anyway? I went to the bull riding thing there last year or a few years ago and it was shown on whatever that redneck channel is. Granted it wasn’t shown live but still.

KATV used to broadcast the game with THEIR equipment. That was years ago and technology has changed.

Since we locked arms with ESPN and tSEC network it's a no no for KATV to continue to broadcast these NLR games.

Verizon Arena DOES NOT have broadcasting equipment and tSEC Network DGAF about airing a game between Arkansas and fill in the blank,School for the Blind at Verizon Arena in NLR.

Yep, that sums it up well. If the game was actually a good match up then I'm sure the SEC network would make it work but I don't see us ever scheduling someone good in NLR. That would probably be a bad idea anyway.

One of the great things about the SEC network was how well they have set up production crews in all the college cities. This is one of the small negative aspects though when games are played away from home.

Fine then. I take back my initial comment until the games are able to be broadcast. Maybe play an exhibition game there, at most.

But if that ever gets done I hope we do play one there every season. It’s just a different beast than football imo.

If I didn’t enjoy watching what they have to offer- especially what we rarely got to see before they existed (baseball, gymnastics etc) - i would complain about sec network being hog blockers but whatever.

I already went back and checked and you were wrong I'll pass on doing it again now that you're altering what you said.

"That was a bad call by this official. Who is this guy? We haven't seen him before. He looks like a big strong guy, but he's struggling to make these calls out here."
