It’s game day again. The older I get the more time means. Most of y’all know I was born a little over an hour outside of Fayetteville. Hogs and Aggies have always been some kind of kindred spirits to me. Good people all around. As I finish my last beer and make sure my brisket is cooking at the right temp before I go back to bed I wanted to say

Here's a fun game where no one gets hurt. I have to say, it is a lot of fun to have Arkansas vs Aggie game that actually has a major impact on national rankings.

I’m having difficulty deciding when to start drinking today. It will feel wrong if I’m not at least sipping during the game but I don’t want to fall asleep by 7 pm either. Hmm.

It was dark and I see now that a lot came off with the Saran wrap, too late to worry about it now. A local guy makes the run I used and sells it in the meat market

Usually a couple hundred less, and comes in cooler colors.

Just don’t make it look like Lincoln Riley’s and if you do, don’t post it. Say I forgot to take pictures and cover it in sauce.

It came out perfect, and I was worried that I was going to “Calzada” it up Melt in your mouth, fall apart, perfect texture and flavor, better than most I’ve ever tried at the best q joints I’m shocked I did it and extremely happy
